Date: 20th July 2025 | Event: Amashova National Classic
What Is the Amashova?
The Amashova Durban Classic is South Africa’s oldest road cycling race, tracing its roots back to 1986. This high-energy event brings thousands of cyclists to KwaZulu-Natal for a ride that starts in Pietermaritzburg and ends at the Durban Golden Mile.
With distances of 132 km, 106 km, 65 km, and a scenic 38 km family-friendly ride, it's a celebration of endurance, community, and the open road.
